Or: Oops, I Forgot To Post
I honestly don't know who's out here reading this. If it's just me writing to me, hey girl! Your hair looks great. But if you've stumbled upon this, my ramblings and brain dumps following an intense week of cooking, welcome! I'm glad you're here. The past two weeks have been, well...intense. For the obvious, war-related reasons, and also just because the work that I've chosen to do is not exactly a chill, clock-in clock-out kind of job. Thankfully I thrive under stress and am finding the process enjoyable. Still, each week brings new lessons and challenges and equipment to buy. My house looks like I've opened a food container store, and the list of items to deep clean and organize grows by the day. But these are all good, necessary, and dare I say, enjoyable challenges and lessons. Anyway, on to the food recaps! I LOVED this week's menu. We had Thai red curry roast chicken with a homemade red curry paste -- very glad I could find fresh galangal! -- meatballs and dry spaghetti, mac 'n cheese with a kale caesar, and a tofu-quinoa bowl. We also had chicken soup with noodles, muffins, and a dill frittata.
And for next week, I'm bringing back the breakfast burritos and chia puddings, with a slight twist -- instead of plain chia puddings they'll be tiramisu flavored with chocolate granola -- and I'm also adding on cardamom buns because I have a lot of flour and I love these buns. Anyway that's all for now! Stay safe everyone <3
